Why we built ByMe.

Think about the last thing you bought because someone told you to. Maybe it was a friend who wouldn’t shut up about a skincare routine. A cousin who swears by one specific brand of running shoes. Someone in a group chat who posted a photo of a jacket and three people immediately asked where it was from. That’s the kind of recommendation that actually moves money. Not a sponsored post from someone with a million followers who’s never used the product, but a person you already trust telling you what actually works.

The affiliate industry never paid for that. Most programs only work if you already have the numbers: tens of thousands of followers, a media kit, a call with a brand manager who decides whether you’re “big enough” to be worth a commission. Everyone else, the people whose taste actually gets copied, recommended products for free and watched brands keep the money.

That felt backwards to us. So we started building something different: a way for anyone, regardless of follower count, to turn the recommendations they were already making into real income.

Here’s how it works. You pick products you already use and actually like, group them into a Collection, and share one link. No application form to fill out, no follower minimum to clear, no inventory to buy or ship. Every merchant on ByMe handles their own stock and fulfillment. When someone buys through your link, you get paid.

It’s working. Right now, more than 500 creators are earning through ByMe, partnered with 230+ verified merchant brands across categories from fashion to home goods. Together, they’ve been paid out over 750k€, money that used to go entirely to the brands and nowhere near the people actually driving the sales.
